I have been scanning 4x6 photos using Media Import, and find I have to crop every picture to "fill the screen". Is there a setting that will automatically let them fill the screen, or is cropping each one the only way? Also, I have changed my EMail address and can't seem to find a place in my profile to change it? Is it necessary that I do that? Thanks. MK

I'm not sure about the photo cropping but to change your email go to the main Roxio page, log in,look at your account and you should find a place you can change it.

To be more precise,go to the main Roxio page (which you can do by clicking on Roxio at the top left of this page),look on the right side and click register your product, log in and when you get to the next page you'll see a link to "Change my Login/Password".You should be able to change it there.

Not sure what you mean, but the aspect ratio to fill the preview screen in a video or slide show production is 4:3 (width to height) or 16:9 (which would be worse). So if you don't want borders on either side (or top and bottom) then cropping is necessary if your photos do not have that aspect ratio. I think Media import also shows a 4x3 screen (I don't have a scanner so can't check that) for the same reason. But presumably it lets you import the whole scan without cropping.

As yours are 4X6, (I assume that is width to height)placing two next to each other would give you 8x6, which would fill the screen. In a production you could place two photos side by side as overlays on a colour panel.

If you want to crop the pictures to the aspect ratio(s) indicated above, you may want to try the Image Cropper utility.

Thank you so much. I have no knowledge about ratio or resolution, but will mess around with it today and see what I can learn. thanks. MK
