I installed the new OSX on my machine and now TiVo transfer does not even start. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

I'm having a similar problem.

I can see my DVR and can select programs to transfer. The transfer begins, but doesn't finish.

Things were working great until installed Leopard, and now the transfer just spins and spins but the programs never actually download.

Perhaps we could get a confirmation or a denial from someone at Roxio that Leopard is incompatible?

I can transfer recordings from the Tivo, but cannot export them or burn them to DVD. They just "encode" forever.

my tivotogo worked for a good amount of time while using 10.4. then it just stopped working. i even tired it on a PC and got the same result. upgraded to 10.5, and still no luck...until i restarted my tivo box! now its working great and transferring gigs of video )

I was having this problem and attributed it to Leopard. Then I read another post that suggested to launch Toast, then go up to the HELP menu and run the Toast setup assistant again. Make sure to check "Allow Tivo Transfers" (mine wasn't checked anymore) and finish the assistant. It solved my problem.

Thanks Terrie!

That worked. Well at least it starts now. The next thing is to see if everything else is still functional...

No luck here since installing Leopard. I select a program to download, it appears to be working for a few seconds, then stops abruptly. Went through the set-up assistant again. Enable TiVo transfers was in fact checked. Still no go. Bummer. That's why I bought this thing. I seldom use Toast itself.

try reset your TiVo unit after you run through Setup Assistant

Same with me. Since I installed leopard I can select programs to transfer but the in the transfer list it just says waiting and never actually starts the download.

This is a problem that many of us seem to be facing. And it's a problem that seems to be completely unacknowledged by Roxio and Tivo. If I don't get any satisfaction by Jan 8th, I am going to report both companies to the Better Business Bureau for selling a product they know doesn't work.

In short, my situation is that with two Tivos, a Series 2 and a Series 3, Tivo Transfer will confuse the listings on the two machines. As for transfers, they either won't start at all, or will start and then abruptly abort after a few seconds.

I have the same problem. Did you ever find a solution?
