sad.gif sad.gif Okay I had Roxio 7 on my Dell laptop. I did not uninstall it before I loaded the Roxio 9 version (clueless). I figured it out and I uninstalled both 9 & 7; put 9 back on and got key code verification issue. I did the repair opt. in Add and Remove programs for anything that said Roxio and downloaded a MP3?? Decoder becuase the movies would play without volume (that worked for viewing movies). Now I can't even open any 9 program at all; when you double click from desktop or from the start menu this programs will not open. How do I get into the programs?

Follow the Clean Install procedures, here.

I have Easy Media Creator 9 each time I try to activate it I get Certificate File Missing or Corrupted.
I have used the Clean install program 3 times and have reinstalled Creator 9 and I still get the same message.
Is there anyone that knows of a fix? I'm beginning to thank I have wasted my money .

I am very frustrated. I installed Roxio Media Creator four times. The first and second time I got the "Certification" problem error. I carefully followed the "uninstall instructions". I cleared the registry etc. I re-installed the Roxio 9 again. I got no responsen that time when I tried to run the software. This time I am getting the error message - "The instruction at "0x001abcba" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be read. Click on ok to terminate the program. Contact the software manufacturer.
