This is probably more appropiate for the installation forum but the last entry there was back in mid-October sometime and the last entry here was yesterday. Figured (under the circumstances) that here was a better choice.

Here's the circumstances.

HD on old puter (where original (1st) installation\activation of EMC7) was located, went.

Ordered new (replacement) hd, but estimated delivery was a month away.

Didn't want to be without puter for that long and puter store was having a sale.
That being the case, I decided to go ahead and get a second (backup) puter, and installed my EMC7 onto it, so I could continue working.

Technically (I suppose), that might be considered a second installation\activation of the same specific program (serial #).

The replacement hd for the old puter arrived, I installed it, and am now in the process of reloading all the programs, one of which is that EMC7.

The thing I'm concerned about is that when I go to do that installation\activation I'll get some kind of
(sorry we've got you down for two installation\activations of that program (serial #) and that's all you're allowed) message.

Either that or it'll install, activate, and work ok, but only for 30 days or so.

Question: How do I get around that, or am I concerned about something that's not going to happen?

I would not bother registering it again as it servers no purpose for a program that isn't even supported anymore…

On the other hand it won't hurt anything either…

So with that clear cut, definitive advice, take your pick!

BTW: A indicator is set whenever a new post is added and we gurus will spot it like a hawk sees movement. Then we pounce!

Actually you can 'register' it as many times as you like. When installed it will ask you if you wish to register. If you say 'yes' it will then tell you that the program is already refistered and will then ask for your e-mail address and that's it.

The only thing you would need it for tho is automatic updating (but you can manually update without registering)

Thankyou.....Izzy
