I performed a CRC read error test with the DVDinfo pro and found errors on a photo cd I have which only 1 photo gets displayed when i open it. How do I repair the error to repair the disc?

If that disc is the only one giving you problems, the are some commercial CD cleaners that might help. The most likely cause is that the disc is dirty and/or scratched. Did you check/use the disc after you burned it?

If those are really important images, there are commercial repair services.

I did you use before and only recently it stopped opening the other images. I will try to use a cleaner first since it does look dirty, which product do you recommend? If that doesn't work I will take it to a commercial service as I don't want to loose the pictures.

I've used the older version of Skip Doctor (the manual, hand-crank one) and it works just fine - even restored well scratched PS2 discs and restored them back to life. The wheel will last for about 20 CD/DVDs before you need to replace it and it can be bought separately for $12.99 (the 'resurfacing fluid' btw is just distilled water as far as I know)

It's only drawback is your wrist does get tired turning the handle on the $29.99 one
