I have a dvr-ms file that has some audio on it that I want to turn into an mp3. I can choose extract audio in VW, but the only choice it gives me is wav.

I know I could save it as a wav then convert it to mp3, but I would like to do it in one step. Is this possible?

I confess I don't know the answer to if it can be done in one step. But it would obviously be quicker to just do it in two steps than to wait for an answer. (I would hope you went ahead and did it, and are simply waiting for an answer for the "next time".)

I'm in no hurry. I'll wait a few days to see if anyone has a solution.
