Here's my experience with using EMC 7.5 w/IE 7 and WMP11:

My computer at work is running both of those programs and EMC 7.5 continues to function without any problems!

On my home box it worked fine for many months with IE7, but ran into trouble after WMP11 was installed. The drive letter window keeps refreshing itself nonstop, rendering the program useless.

I understand most of you have given up and just moved on to version 9 or 10. The reason I'm having major withdrawal issues is the crossfade feature in 7.5. Roxio nailed it here, and none of the later crossfades work as well. They fade out the previous song while fading in the new one, even when you choose "no fade." Version 7.5 is the only one that works perfectly.

I truly wish either Roxio or MS would issue a fix. (I'm currently running XP with Service Pack 3 RC1)

The fix is in. Roll back both IE7 and WMP 11, and all will be well. I doubt that Microsoft is going to issue a fix for their problem.

And, you must not do any video work, because there is no way that DVD Builder will work on either of the computers that you mention in your post.

I still use EMC 7.5 for some things, even though I also have EMC 9 and 10 on my computer.
