Full Version: Toast 8.03 Check, Mac OS X 10.5.1 check, still not working
Roxio Community > Macintosh Applications > TiVo Transfer, Mac2TiVo, and TiVoToGo

I have downloaded the software update of Toast 8.03 and my software is up to date for Leopard 10.5.1 on my MacBook Pro. It sounds like many of you are having success again but mine is not working. Is there anything else I need to get my tivotogo to work again? It is still caught at the 0% encoding. Thanks for any input.

sad.gif Has anyone had success with a HD file with DD5.1?

In My Humble Opinion Roxio has broken software, is phrasing it 'some users', (which is true, only the ones that are using TTG with HD).

I HOPE they are fixing it..

I was having the same problem. Updating the Roxio software solved the "encoding" forever at 0% problem, but now my shows are truncated. Some one hour shows have less than 50 minutes of recording, some less than 40. Not any fun watching a program that disappears before the conclusion!

The Tivo2Go files are larger than the Toast 8 files, so something is happening as the data moves between those programs.

If this software doesn't allow me to take my shows with me, it was a waste of money.

I am running:

Mac OS 10.4.11
2.16 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
TiVo Transfer 1.1.1/Toast 8 Titanium 8.0.3
With 2 Series 2 DTR DVRs connected via TiVO wireless adapters.

I can see both TiVos and all their recordings and they can see each other and can go out over Internet.

When I use TiVo Transfer software to manually try to transfer a program, the transfer stalls and interrupts part way through. Seems to occur in same spot in the TV program, but at different places in different TV programs.

Most frustrating of all, I have to manually check file sizes to see if the whole thing was recorded or only a part. The software says the whole program is recorded even if it is NOT.

I bought this software via a link on the TiVo site, so had every expectation that it'd work.

What am I missing??
