Full Version: Roxio 9.0 Patch?

running vista32 on dell xps720 with auto update on

got a message to update for roxio (before i had even iniatialized it),so i registered it (EMC 9 OEm version).
after downloading the update patch(d2d32_90_905) and starting it i get the message...Drag_to_ disk 32 vista
could not be found.
What the heck is going on?

Not sure, but I don't think any Roxio patch works on an OEM version of the software.

I think Bruce that was the Dell patch for the drag to disc problem - but that's down to Dell (it was never a Roxio patch)

Anyway, if D2D was uninstalled (which anyone with sense does) then the patch wouldn't find it to actually patch it in the first plave wink.gif

Ahhh, I think you are right about the removing of Drag to Disc, but the OP got the patch from here:

It is a patch for Dell systems, only.

Yep - I remember that being posted by John - but it was some time after Dell released the patch on their own servers - that was being queried by people who didn't have a Dell box and there were problems when well-meaning souls told them about it laugh.gif
