Based on a link from the Tivo web site, I just purchased EMC 9 so that I could transfer recorded programs to DVDs. I'm a bit dismayed that the Help in EMC 9 doesn't even mention Tivo, so I'm not sure what to do.

Here's a quote from the Tivo web site:

QUOTE
To create a DVD, library or archives of your favorite shows, you'll need Roxio Creator (for PC's) or Roxio Toast 8 (for MAC). Once burned, you can menu through them on any DVD player with the same great TiVo navigation you've come to expect on your home TV.

How do I get the familiar Tivo navigation? Is that just a MyDVD style? If so, I couldn't find it.

Also, should I use TivoToGo to convert to a format like MPEG-4 before importing them? Or just directly import the .tivo files?

Thanks!

You could have a pronblem here

Since EMC 9 was released, Tivo has started to encrypt its programmes and has tightened up the DRM
