Full Version: Can't control length of video clips

Trying to import video from my Sony Hi-8 camera via firewire using Roxio Media Import. Rather than allowing me to control when the video clips start and stop, the software automatically ends a clip after 34-36 seconds. Why? How can I override this?

I'm having the same problem with my Sony Digital 8mm camcorder as well. I still don't have an answer. Mine cuts off after exactly 30-31 seconds every time, ALSO using the firewire.
