Hi ,
I am having issues getting the menus and chapters on the burned version of my DVD when using MyDVD in EMC Suite 9 and was hoping someone could provide me with some assistance with this problem. When I preview the movie in My DVD the two button that I created, "Play Movie" and "Select Chapters" are there. When I click "Play Movie" the movies plays, when I click "Select chapters" it takes to me to the six chapters that I created and I can play anyone that I wish. I then proceed to burn the DVD and everything seems to work fine with no errors. However, when I go to play back the burned DVD the menus and chapter sub menus are not on the DVD. I am absolutely perplexed as to why it is fine in the preview but will not work on the burned version. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Here are the details of my computer

40 GB Hard drive with WD 250G external hard drive
running Windows XP with service pack 2

Not that this is the problem, (well it could be) take those Memorex RWs and relegate them to the 'For Testing Only' pile! Stick to quality media such as Verbatim, TDK, Sony.

Have you tried to run the DVD in other Players or PCs?

With some decent media, try burning first to an ISO file from MyDVD. Then use Disc Copier to burn that ISO file to disc.

Thanks! It is working fine now but I have no idea why it would not work before.
