I have tried everything to make a MP3 disk that will play in both a "walk man" CD player that advertises it works with MP3 disks and also a clock radio/CD player that also advertises it works with MP3 disks.

I have made them "DATA" disks with MP3 files, and I have made them "MP3 Disks" with MP3 files. Nothing works.

I have used 4 different brands of CD's also.

What am I doing wrong?

Are you using RW disc? They usually won't work. Does your computer see the mp3 files and play the discs?

No I am not using RW disks and yes the computer sees the files. But both MP3 players cannot play them.......

What is the source of the mp3 files? If you bought them from an on-line store, you may have to use that application to burn the discs.

Are you using Music Disc Creator to make those discs or are you using something else? I don't have EMC 8 loaded so I can't give you any details.

Also, look in the manuals for your players that aren't playing the discs. Do they say anything about how the discs should be made? Make sure under project properties you've selected the Joliet file system not UDF102. The players may also specify how the .MP3 files should be encoded, VBR or CBR (Variable or Constant Bit Rate), and what valid bit rates may be used.
