I'm using different types of media but when I'm in Easy media Creator, I can't copy homemade DVD's from DVD+r's to DVD-R's and vice versa. The only way I can copy these DVDS is to start CD Copier. Thats the only program that doesn't care what media I put in. Am I doing something wrong?

You are using EMC 8 Retail Version? In creator classic click help about creator classic, what version does it show?
Is CD Copier something from the Home screen? Click start, programs, Roxio EMC 8, click copy, then Disc Copier. Does that work for you? It's the program you shpuld be using.
