While making my first DVD, I added the movies and everything seemed fine. I hit the "play" icon to preview the DVD. the progress bar got to about 90% and it hung. I right clicked on the buton on the bottom tool bar (winxp) and clicked close. It close immediately, didn't have "program is not responding" error or anything.

I tried to re-open it again from the EMC main program, but it did nothing. (I opened task manager and watched "programs" and "application" tabs...nothing.)

I shut down the computer, re started and tried again. Watching the application tab, MyDVD.exe popped up briefly, then went away. The program never started. Subsequent starts didn't even put the mydvd.exe in applications at all.

I also tried to get it to open by double clicking on the saved mydvd project. Nothing.

Any ideas?

This is happening with the EMC 9 Trial Version???

In MyDVD, click on Help – About and tell us the version/build number.

I can't even get MyDVD to load, so I can't get to help to get you this number....
