I created a project in my dvd and when previewing the finished project it looks great. No errors & plays fine in a computer dvd player as well as a tv dvd player. the problem i'm having is not all the photos are on the finished burned project. When i go back and look at the project they are there. I've tried burning at 18x and 4x speeds. I've tried different brands of dvds. my computer is a dell pent4 3ghz and the burner is an external i/o magic certified by dell to work with my system. I have the most recent directx & verified my video drivers as well. the burner is brand new but did look for new drivers(none). I've noticed that it seems to be missing the begining photos in the slide shows. I made a 3rd dvd with just the slideshows in question and they burned properly. The project has 45 different slideshows containing anywhere from 4 to 180 photos in each slideshow. the ones that are missing are slideshows with about 9 photos in them. Any suggestions would be great this is for a church that went on a trip to Israel and the 45 slideshows are all the different cities everone visited so there are over 2900 photos in the project. thanks scott, scottkarrie@yahoo.com

How did you create the slideshows? Using the Slideshow Assistant? Most folks here use the Videowave application.

You are not trying to "squeeze" 2900 photos into a single DVD project, are you?. At best quality you will have only about 1-2 seconds to see a slide. A standard 60 minute DVD will only hold about 60 minutes of video at best quality. I would be curios to know how you were able to create the slideshow on the DVD with 2900 images.

I just opened my dvd, chose dvd & add slide show. on the menu page it allows 5 slide shows per page the it automatically creats a new menu page. I have 9 menu pages with 5 slideshow links per page.

I did not "count" all the photos. there is over 3gb of photos in my project.

looking at my sorce file where mydvd is pulling the photos from has 2609 photos all together. I don't know how many are missing. if i had to guess less them 100. i'll try to count the burned dvd photos.

what it looks like it is doing is not starting from picture 1 when opening each slideshow. it lloks like they are missing but they are there. when it launches the slideshow it is skipping the first 10-13 photos then starting to scroll through the slideshow.
