Bought a blackberry with Media Manager 9 in Dec 2007. It worked great until a couple of weeks ago where when I open media manager to transfer files to and from my Blackberry, Media Manager tries to do an install, when I click cancel it keeps trying over and over .... I finally have to reboot my system to stop it. I uninstalled the blackberry Desktop manager but Media Manger 9 still shows up in the programs section of Start button. Windows Unistall/install doesn't find it when searches for applications so I can't uninstall it that way. Uninstall isn't available when I go to MM9 and not in the folders in the MM9 folder under Program files-common files folder. I tried reinstalling the Blackberry Desktop Manager using the CD hoping it would remove and nothing. The install cd even has an option to replace or fix installed components but no luck there as soon as I choose transfer data which uses MM9 boom the bloody thing starts the install again and never stops. MM9 does start up and comes on but then the whole thing locks up because the install takes up all my CPU.
This has become really frustrating PLEASE HELP all I want to uninstall the corrupted version and reinstall using the CD again.
