WHen I try to create a project for a data backup, it says it cannot find my disk. Default disk: none. I reinstalled Roxio but it still does not see my DVD. HELP please. Drag and drop sees the DVD just fine.

You must mean it does not recognize your Burner… It is actually a common XP problem but try the PxEngine fix and see if that helps.
