After the burn is complete, you get the option to verify, mount or eject the disk....What does verifying and mounting do?

verify - checks that the copy matches the source

mount - displays the disc icon on the desktop so you can then launch DVD player to watch (this is the same as ejecting the disc and then reinserting into drive)
