Hey, Im Having a Problem on Roxio MyDvD Version 7. I Press the Edit Style. And It crashes with the Send Error Report MSG. > Roxio MyDVD has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience > Send Error Report > Don't Send Error Report.

Does anyone know how i can Prevent this? Thanks.

I have been using version 7 for a while and Edit Style has always worked for me. Did it ever work? Or is this something new?

I have been using Sonic MyDVD v 6.2.0 (pre-installed on my PC) without problem for a year. I began to get operating performance problems, after a year or so with other programs on my pc, so I did a complete reformat on my hard drive, which took it back to factory condition, downloaded all my updates from Microsoft windows, and now MyDVD plus will crash every time I open it if I click the edit style button or anything else. However, it will burn dvd's with no problem, as long as I just add files, and type in the text. I just can't change the style, background, or font size (which is normally too big) without it crashing. It will give me an error message that says it has encountered a problem and needs to close. EVERY time. I uninstalled, (Clean) and re-installed this program, and it did not help. (The first time I ran it after the complete reformat, which took it back to its orginal installation settings, and it still crashed). I love this software but I have no idea how to fix it. Any ideas? Thanks!

Did those MS updates include IE 7 and WMP 11? If so, one or both are a likely cause of your problem and need to be removed.

Um ... if you have IE 7, and it was on there before SP3, you can't get it back out short of reformatting the Hard Drive.

If you like IE 7, it's time to replace most of your software.

(IE 7 isn't getting anywhere near any of my computers, BUT, when I had to reformat the WinXP, I downloaded SP3 from download.com using the high-speed connection at the library, and put it on after WinXP SP2 - seems to work ok - and there were only two tiny downloads aside from IE 7and WinPlayer 11, both of which I declined.)
