I really need help please. I am having trouble getting Roxio EMC8 to recognize my DVD drives. I have searched the discussion groups and found a few things that have solved this problem in the past. Here is a list of what I have tried so far and nothing has resolved my issue:

1. I uninstalled Roxio EMC8.
2. I uninstalled Nero.
3. I uninstalled Sonic.
4. Removed the registry entries for the lower and upper filters.
5. Downloaded and ran Roxizap.exe.
6. I rebooted the computer.
7. Reinstalled Roxio using executable RoxioEMCSuitev8.05_efisd.exe.

Here are my computer specs:

Dell XPS 400
Media Center Edition Version 2002
XP SP2
Intel Pentium D 820 (2.8GHz) with Dual Core Technology
2 GB DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz
16X DVD-ROM (Sony DVD-ROM DDU1615)
16X DVD+/-RW (_NEC DVD+-RW ND-3530A

Can someone please help me get this figured out? I am going crazy. Other applications like Pinnacle do recognize the drives and can burn videos to DVD.

Thanks so much in advanced,
Tim
