I have a Dell Inspiron E1505 with Roxio Creator Premier version 9.0.116 installed by Dell. When I run Creator I am unable to select a destination device, the Control Panel shows "No Drive Detected:. I have searched the help files for assistance but did not find anything that addressed the problem. The laptop is running Microsoft Vista Ultimate and has a Pioneer DVD +-RW DR - K17Y ATA Device installed. I am able to write to the device with Vista but I want to be able to use the Roxio Creator functionality to duplicate original DVD's. Can you please point me in the right direction? rolleyes.gif

Go to this post and try running the PX Engine Update and see if it helps.

WAS SEARCHING THROUGH THE FORUMS AND TRIED THIS SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM, AND IT DIDN'T WORK. ANY OTHER THOUGHTS? MY DVD BURNER WAS JUST REPLACED.

No need to shout (use all CAPS) at your fellow users.

Try this one instead. Sometimes this older one works when the other one doesn't. If not, start a new topic and post some details on your issue, your system, drive ID, Roxio product & version #, OS, etc...

Sorry about the "shouting". I am reinstalling the software now, then I will try that and if that doesn't work, will start a new topic. Thanks.

Seems like uninstalling and installing the program has worked. Thanks for the help.
