How are the audio cables from my pc sound card to my stereo to be hookedup in order to use easy audio capture in roxio 9 suite? Also which boxes should be checked or unchecked in volume control? I am using a Dell Demsions 4550 desktop with windows XP home edition.
I am new to recording music using easy audio capture and I must be doing something wrong because when I try to playback my audio there is no sound. At this time I am just trying to record music from internet radio like itunes or pandora.

I have mine going from my left and right, Tape Rec. jacks, on the amplifier, to the left and right inputs on my sound card.

My question is how should the audio cables from my pc to my stereo be hooked up? Presently I have two cables. One runs from the speaker audio card on my pc to the left/right rca jacks on my a stereo amp. and the other runs from the microphone to left/right record jacks on my tape deck which I am, using to access the radio music from my pc. So I have a hookupup from pc speaker to the tape "play" jack on my amp and another cable from the microphone to the stero "record" jack. This way I can hear the music from my internet radio while trying to record. But when I try to play it back there is no sound.

If you are trying to capture streaming internet radio then your stereo shouldn't have to be used.
In Easy Audio Capture you need to have the Capture From and Input set correctly.
The Capture From should show your sound card.The Input needs to show an input from your sound card that lets you capture what your computer is hearing.
That would be something like What You Hear (Sound Blaster),Wav In,Wav,or something similar.
Does your computer have a dedicated sound card or is it a built in chip?Some chipsets don't give the correct inputs to allow this.It's really gonna come down to that.
Do this:Open Easy Audio Capture,Set the CaptureFrom to your sound device,start your internet radio program.Now go to the input and start changing it until you see the meters start moving.When they move you'll then be able to capture.If they don't move with any of the choices then you may not be able to do this.The sound device amy not give any input that works.This will probably only happen if you have a chip and not a card.You also may not hear what you're recording.This is also dependant on the sound device.

I answered your other post as to how to capture the music.Are you now saying you can capture this way and just not hear it during playback?Or you can't hear it while capturing through your stereo?
You need to take the cable that goes from your line out on the PC to the Tape in on the stereo and the Tape out on the stereo to Mic on the PC.I'm not sure if you'll then be able to play internet radio on the PC,send it out to the amp and then loop it back to then capture on the PC.Some of that will have to do with the settings on the amp.
