.. and turn off your registry cleaner or set it to ignore Roxio registry items.

Clean uninstall/install here.

Ijar, you could have given him that link; don't do a half-a job.

He didn't do it. Perhaps the moderator didn't know what "ff" stood for and thought it was something bad.

Personal attacks are not allowed but comments on (your) poor past performance are. smile.gif

None of us are compensated so you can't use that as an excuse.

Steve is correct. I didn't touch your post.

Hopefully, the OP comes back again to let the forum know if the suggestion made in this thread solved the issue.

Ijar, your posts 5 & 6 responded to the same quote of grandpabruce. You could have edited post 5 to add any further response to the same quote. Just a suggestion....

Thank you all for your help, unfortunately after following all your instructions, and reinstalling the software I still have a same problem, nothing has changed, I am almost ready to gave up. Any other ideas.? I do appreciate your help.

Was your install originally from a download or a disc? If from a download, have you considered trying to download it again in case your first download was corrupt?

This seems to be a widespread problem (and not just Roxio)

However, one recommendation is installing the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package
