I've been using the Neato 2-up template, but the Neato labels are expensive and I want to try generic labels. The problem is, while they may say "comparable to Neato," there are often differences. If I need to create a custom template for Creator 7 to use, how do I do it?

Thanks!

Open Label Creator and go to File, Page Setup

In that you can select the offset (vertical and horizontal) for generic paper. Measure the distances on your sheet from side edge and top edge to the circle outline and that should get you close. Do a couple of runs on standard paper first to check as you may have to make a few minor tweaks

Okay, today I got the generic labels I purchased. On the website, it says vertical spacing is 0.25" and horizontal is 0.166".

Here are the specs:

If you go here and enter part number LU46RDSLW10 in the search box, it will bring up the paper I am talking about:

https://www.labeluniverse.com/store/index.cgi

When I enter these values in Label Creator, I can't even enter 0.166. I've interpreted it as both .16 and 1.66, and either way the horizontal layout looks crazy, as does the vertical one set at .25. What am I doing wrong??

Thanks!!

I think you misread that

From what I can see the vertical offset is 0.75" and the horizontal is also 0.75"

Download the template they have and measure that with a ruler

Or, do as they suggest and set the page properties to Avery 5931
