could somebody please help me out i have found if i burn a disc with data on it it will not open on another computer after talking with friends and reading upon on the subject the general opinion is that roxio drag to disc is causing my problem i have deleated it from my control panel /programmes but when i try to burn pics to a disc it tells me the cd is not blank but i know it is if i click copy and then paste to my computer it tells me that there is files ready to be burnt to disc but as i say when i put a disc it it goes mad telling me windows is using the drive and that the disc is full etc the only way i can burn images to disc is select images and then send to drive and ye great it works but the drag to disc is doing the job and i still cant open a data cd on another computer!! am geting fed up with it now i would like to know why drag to disc/roxio have deceid that this SHALL be my default for this task i defo dont want it if somebody could tell me if they have encountered this and how they resolved it i would be grateful thanks tim

If the other computer doesn't have D2D on it, then be sure to finalize the disc when you eject it (mark it for use with other computers).

The best way to exchange data reliability between PCs is not to use D2D unless the other PC has the same version of D2D. Use Creator Classic and avoid these type of issues.

Drag-2-Disc formats discs in a special proprietory way. Just uninstalling the program isn't enough to return your formatted RW discs to general use, you need to ERASE them first to get rid of the formatting.

If you put a formatted disc into your drive, Drag-to-Disc recognizes the format and seizes control and won't let Windows use it. So (1) click the Drag-to-Disc menu and disable that drive for Drag-to-Disc. (2) Erase any formatted RW discs you want to use, so they are truly blank.
