blink.gif Hello;

After I did the scene detection of one of my videos (miniDV) using My Media (the documentation says you can only do this in MyMedia and MyAlbums), I cannot add these scenes to VideoWave to edit them and create a complete project with all the EFX I would like to do.

Is there any way to add these scenes to a project in VideoWave so you can edit them individually, I don't want to split the movie manually in VideoWave. Or is anyway to do the detection scenes or make the automatic video clip when you are doing the capturing.

I hate to compare products, but this is very easy to do in Movie Maker 2, and MM2 also give you the choice to do it during the capture process, and MM2 it's free and very powerfull and easy to use. But EMC8 have a bunch of special things that you can do also.

It's also very easy in Videowave when you use the correct method.
Open Videowave
Click on SHOW MEDIA SELECTOR under Tools
Here is where the 'scenes' will show up
Drag and drop any of the scenes to the Storyboard or Timeline
