I have a slide show (3.8GB) that I want to burn to a DVD. It worked once but then I added a couple of slides, saved it and went to Burn.
The program burned the DVD but came up with an error message. The error is E80070057.
I can see the data folders on the disk but it won't play on the computer or my DVD Player.
The first copy I made works fine .

Do you see the standard Video-TS folder plus all the ifo,bup and vob files?

Assuming you created your slideshow in Videowave, perhaps you could out putto as mpeg file at DVD quality. That may tell you if there is some problem with some of the slides.
How long in time is your slideshow?
JIM25
I made the slide show in DVD Builder. I have Video-TS and Audio-TS. These are the same files I have on the disk that works. The Video-TS folder has 7 ifo, 7 bup and 8 vob files. The main show runs about 45 minutes. I have three other menus but they only run about 3 minutes each.
I took the intro out and put in two slides between the good disk and the bad ones ( I tried to burn several times).

Everything I am finding with that error code E80070057 relates to a problem with an MP3 file.

Do you have mp3 files in this project?
JIM25
Yes and No. I added a MP3 file at the begining but the music note didnot appear when I went to burn.

Delete the MP3, and see if all goes well.

As I mentioned before, there was no audio symbol on the movie and no audio when I previewed the movie.
I went to the movie header and clicked on remove audio anyway and checked in preview and burnt another disk.
I got the same "error during recording" and the same error number E80070057.
I think I will have to reconstruct the slide show as a different project and try again. I will let you know what happens but I am leaving for a month, it won't happen until September.

Can I call up this project, if I go to a later versionECM?

No. The EMC suites are not backwards compatible, in some of the programs.
