I got a new computer with Windows Vista, and I installed Easy Media Creator 7. When I open the program, a message pop up stating 'Dragon Engine Initialization Failed' and when I click OK, nothing happens. I reinstalled EMC 7 and came up with the same results. Is EMC 7 not compatible with Windows Vista?

EMC up to version 8 are incompatible with both Internet Explorer 7 and Media Player 11, both of which are standard on Vista (they have problems even on XP if either of those are installed)

The earliest EMC that is compatible is EMC9

Although EMC 7 will not run properly in Vista, here is the fix for your problem:

Does that allow EMC 7 to partially run on Vista, or simply fix the error message?
