I have Toast 7.1.3 on a MacBook Pro running 10.5.4. I haven't used it in a while. Today I tried to copy a disc. The disc is read properly by iTunes and plays fine. However, after setting up Toast to copy it, when I click record I get a dialog box with an error "Couldn't complete the last command because of a Mac OS error. Result code = -1"

I have searched on Google and the support site here and can't find anything specific to this error. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Also, this is not an error, but I'm wondering: If a disc is identified incorrectly in Toast using CDDB, is there a way to clear out the name and enter disc and track names manually? I couldn't find any way to do this, but it would be very useful. Many of my discs are mixes with only one CD track and those are almost never identified correctly by CDDB.

Thanks!

I presume you're using the Copy window. Try choosing Save as Disc Image from the File menu and then drag the resulting disc image into the Audio window to burn to CD. I don't know what that error message means or why it appeared.

As for the disc title information you'll need to edit that in iTunes for it to appear correctly on your Mac. Editing it in Toast doesn't change the database file that your Mac reads to identify info on audio CDs. Editing in Toast does change what Toast writes as CD Text, but computers don't read CD Text.
