I just had a weird occurence, in that when getting the software expired message for the version 9 trial, I clicked on to go online to purchase, just so that I could find out what the cost would be and make a decision as to whether I wanted the software. I did not really plan to purchase it. On clicking on continue, there was some activity and suddenly the message came up "Thank you for your purchase." I never ok'd a purchase, entered any information, or in any way agreed to purchase the software. The message disappeared so that I couldn't even copy it. When going online to my account (I have registered previous versions of the software) in has the version 9 trial "registered" under my name. Can Roxio bill me for this software when I didn't really want to purchase it? The software appears to be activated, even though I never entered a serial number. It is so close to the version 8 I already had that I never would have purchased it, but was looking to find out if future versions had made any worthwhile changes. Has anyone had this happen before? It isn't even installed on a partition that I regularly use but on a "trial software partition" that I set up just to check out software.
Thank you.
