I'm running Windows Vista on a Dell XPS M1530 laptop, which came with Roxio Easy Media Creator 9 installed. Until recently, it detected my DVD drive without issue. I tried the PX Engine Update patch, but it did not resolve the issue. I would re-install the product, but there was no installation disc included with my purchase. All feedback welcome . . .

If it worked 'until recently' it begs the question - what have you installed recently?

It could be anything from a Microsoft update to a virus.

For the disc - you will have to contact Dell as their version differs from the commercial Roxio version.
