It's been awhile since I used MovieMker and I had no problem before in converting the finished movie to the Roxio 7 builder to burnd a DVD.

Can someone give me a 'link' to the steps? I don't know how to transfer the MovieMaker file to the Roxio for burning. Thanks

**Correction **

1. Select "Create new DVD under DVD
2. Select a project type, "DVD
3. Click "Add new Title"
4. Select the saved video file from WMM
5. Choose DVD menu theme, transitions, intro title etc.
6. When ready, click on "Burn"

This is DVD Builder module which is a DVD Video creation module. I was able to locate some tutorials which might help. The closest I could locate was "How to create a DVD Menu".

Thanks All!!! The link to the Xp website has a link at the bottom that then takes you into the DVD portion and the Roxio example.

Thanks for the link.

Basically, once you've edited a film in Windows Movie Maker, you have to output the file to a DV AVI file which gives you a new movie that you can edit in VideoWave or burn to a DVD in DVD Builder ( the version 7 program used to burn DVDs ).

Your Windows Movie Maker cannot convert the original movie to a DVD compliant file that is recognized by DVD players. That's what the Roxio program does.

Glad you got it figured out. smile.gif
