Ever since I purchased Roxio 10, I have had problems with choppy transitions and poor playback...and of course it is so hard to burn a good copy...Is anyone having the same issues?

In Vido Wave or MyDVD go to the top menu and select tools, options and put a dot near software. You will lose the 3D transitions but the rest should be better. This issue is typically related to an marginal video card/chip. Also update your video drivers and DitectX (9 or 10 as applicable).

Thanks Sknis! Do I need to purchase a new video card? How do I know if I need one? Also how do you update video drivers and DitectX?

Direct X can be updated from Microsoft.

The video drivers need to be updated from:
1) The manufacturer of your computer or
2) The manufacturer of your video card/chip.

Go to Windows Start> Run> type in dxdiag> OK> wait until the window opens and then go to the display tab. On the left will be the information on your video card/chip; on the right will be the current driver information. Post that here.

What computer do you have? Make and model number.

Did you try the software mode? How are you playing back the project?
