I am attempting to use a Canopus ADVC 110 on a PC with Windows Vista Ultimate using EMC 9 with "Plug and Burn". When I reach the option to capture, the device is recognized-there's the video showing on the software screen but a box appears that says "Failed to setup system components for showing picture or sound". Details read "Template Manager returned an error. Failed to detect which capture qualities are available for this device.
I have used this very same set-up on Windows XP Media Center and worked great.
On this Vista system I replaced the Canopus with my Sony Camera and it recognized it without any difficulty.
Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I'd check with Canopus, then.
