I am trying to add background music to a slide show. When I select the song I want to add from my itunes song list it says "There are no media files that match the filter settings. To change the filter settings click the Filter for Media Types button." But I do not see this button on my screen. Where do I find this button? Any other suggestions on how to add audio?

If those iTunes are DRM laden, which they probably are, you can't use them for anything but playing on your computer, and maybe copying to an iPod.

I have run into this problem before in EMC10, and I, too, could not find the "button"! So, someone, please enlighten us!

I was using tunes captured from LP albums without any DRM.

Where do you see this message? I have never come acroos this.
LynnandBert are trying to add iTunes music which cannot be done so they have a completely different situation.

What application from EMC 10 are you using to create your slideshow?
Using Videowave will give you the most flexibility.

I have never used the Slideshow Assistant very much so have never come up with that situation. rolleyes.gif

I just tried the same situation in EMC 10 Videowave and I get the following screen: no filter option or button blink.gif

I have no clue if the problem that I had, in EMC 9, is the same, but when I was using Sound Editor, I got the same message. I did a "repair", and it fixed the problem.

I just tried, in VideoWave, and did not have a problem.

So simple, when explained by an expert!
I wonder why the instruction did not say PULL DOWN, I bet I would have figured that out!
Thanks for clearing that up.

I solved my problem by doing my slide show in PowerPoint, as the recipient had PowerPoint installed.

To be honest, I don't have EMC 10 on any of my PCs so I had to grab a screen from EMC 9 and hoped it would be similar enough.

In programming that is called Drop Box Control and I don't know of anyone who refers to it as a 'button'.
