Full Version: Not Enough Memory? Result Code = -108
Roxio Community > Macintosh Applications > Popcorn 3

I've tried burning an unprotected, 2GB VIDEO_TS folder using Popcorn many times, after reboots and all sorts of other troubleshooting, only to get an error indicating that there's not enough memory and a result code of -108. Any pointers?

That error appears when something is missing from within the VIDEO_TS folder. Popcorn reads the IFO file and that file is pointing to something that isn't there. This is a common issue when people rip DVDs without using a full disc extraction. I don't know what might have caused it in your case.

An alternative is to use the Media Browser to extract the video(s) from the VIDEO_TS folder as MPEG files and to author a new video DVD. This is done by placing the VIDEO_TS folder on the desktop and choosing DVD-Video as the format.

Thanks for the tip - I'd like to replicate that error somehow in order to verify. You'd think if that were the case, then the error message would simply state that. No-brainer, if that's truly what the error means.

OK, I concur - the source was the issue. Thank you.

Hey, Roxio: Improved error message needed smile.gif
