I had to rewrite windows and when I got to roxio dvd deluxe 7, windows wouldn't run it. The system crashed and had to reboot and remove the software to get my system back and stable. The issue first happened when my pc installed an automatic update for windows XP pro. The system attempted to restart and came up with "ntldr missing" which I know is the windows loader. I wiped out the disc after attempting a recovery disc and started fresh with XP pro. I installed all of the updates and then as soon as I got to Roxio and attempted to use the program, it would freeze windows. I have never seen XP freeze like that, I have found it to be the most stable software environment I have ever used. Anyway, Thought I should post something about it.

If you installed Internet Explorer 7, and/or Windows Media Player 11, you effectively killed the Roxio program.
