I found two windows on my screen, after others were using my computer.
They both say unable to read certificate file.
One says feature is on a removable disk.
the other says please wait while windows configures roxio media manager.

This is obvously the middle of an installation, but no one has tried to install the program, to my knowledge, and I dont have a CD for the program.
The computer may have had media manager 9 already installed, as it indicates the program among the may that I have.
When I try to go to the program, it says that it needs the certificate.
When I try to remove the program by the add/remove programs, it won't remove, because it is in the middle of an installation.
I supporse I would prefer to keep the program, but I most want those windows off my screen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have EMC 9 or Roxio Creator 2009 on your computer? There is a 2 version difference between the 2, and you are posting in the 2009 forums.

Echo?

Do this. See if the Windows Install Clean up will work (first step). If not, print off an follow all the instructions, don't skip any steps.

If you do want the program (your post is a bit ambiguous) then contact the computer or hardware manufacture for a download.
