I have downloaded pictures from a NIKON s550 camera. while downloading i have aslo selected the option to clear memory. But after that when i have tried to view the images it was displaying "NO Preview Available" and the image type was showig JPEG. I am really upset as those pictures were very dear to me. I have also tried to open with all the editings available. But showing the same error. As i have deleted the pictures from camera also so is there any way to recover the pictures from anywhere. Please help guys.................

I had a similar problem some months ago with the memory chip from one of my digital cameras. I had inadvertantly erased the photos I had on the chip which were very valuable. I finally ended up purchasing the program "File Rescue Pro Deluxe" from San Disk. It worked perfect and was able to bring back all of the photos I had on that chip.

What a life saver for me. Later I tested it by actually formatting the the chip that had some photos on it. The program actually retrieved them also, even after formatting. And I even tried it on a hard drive that had been formatted and it found all the files on it too !! You might want to serch the internet for that or similar programs.

What program are you trying to use to view the picture? It's possible that the pictures are still there. Have you tried to open them in PhotoSuite?
