I lost the
DMSM file that I had for a small 9 chapter DVD I made. All the chapters are about a couple of minutes so it didn't take up much of the DVD. Is there any way I can use the DVD to get back the DMSM file so I can edit new versions?

thanks
paul

Copy all the DVD files back to your computer. Set Windows to show hidden files types (extensions). Look for the VOB files and change the extension to mpg. Video Wave should (maybe ) open them.

Remember that you will be editing a movie; it is not the same (as easy) as editing video files and images.

If you have the original files still on your computer, you would probably save time and have less frustration if you started from scratch.
