Hopefully, someone can help me with this one.

I have an MPG file on my hard drive that I used to create 2 DVDs during the last week of December. In January, I tried to create another copy and I get this error message - 80040207 Error while Encoding Menu. This is running on XP Media Center Edition.

I tried the 'Clean Install' recommendations, but still get the same results. I also upgraded to 9.1 but still same results.

I also tried loading 9.0 and then the 9.1 upgrade on a Vista Premium system but can only get to 43% done encoding and then it stops. I let it run for over hours and nothing else happens.

Yup I have the same error ... that link goes no where.
I'm just burning three video files to a DVD that I've been doing in NERO for years (with hiccups, which is why I switched) but first time, first try ... this encoding error 8004520c movie 1 ... any more ideas?

That is almost certainly a graphics problem. Update your graphics drivers to the latest from the card makers and install the latest DirectX from Microsoft.

If that doesn't work, let us know the make and type of your graphics (right click on the screen and go to properties, advanced)

You have an onboard video chipset, not a video card, and Windows isn't going to give you an upgraded driver for it. Check the Intel site for an updated driver.
