I'm attempting to write data to a BD-R disc using the Easy Archive function. The data seemed to write to the data OK, however when I attempted to view the data files on the disc, an error came up stating that an appendable disc should be used.
Next I tried to write data to the disc using the Data Disc function, however I noticed that when I insert a new BD-R disc, it shows that there is only 6.5 GB free.
Can anybody offer any help?

No, it doesn't. Creator 2009 does, though.

I finally managed to write data to a BD-R disc using EMC9.
Next issue I've got is that I can't read the data on the disc. Any suggestions?

How did you manage to write data to a BlueRay disc with a program that does not support BlueRay burning?

Not a clue, but I did................I think!
I haven't been able to read the data on the disc to verify that it was 100% succesful.

If you can’t read it, I think you have confirmed it was a failure???
