Full Version: How To Connect Analog Source To Ibook With No Audio Input?

I haven't used Toast/CD Spin Doctor in a long time and am trying to use it on a Mac iBook (G3, OSX 10.4.11) that has no audio input. Is there some device I need to use to hook up an analog audio source (record player/cassette player) to the iBook? My older Mac had the mic input, but this iBook does not. Anyone know what to do?

Thanks!

A common product that takes care of this is the Griffin iMic. What you are looking for is a USB audio input device.

Thanks for the info! After doing some more searching, I did come across the iMic and thought it might work. Now I know for sure. I appreciate the reply.
