Hi, any body help? When using the Lightsribe feature in Creator 9 I cannot bring in pictures etc. from my documents. It either crashes or goes back to the home page.

Have you tried the lastest Lightscribe update?

This is the Forum for Creator 2009.

If you only have "Creator 9" as you posted we need to know. Different program has a different solution.

Downloaded as you said but still the same. I have REM Creator9. When you go into Laser Labler, Express Labler V3, then into Background then import background this is where it goes back to the home page.
Many Thanks

REM? Do you mean an OEM version? If it is an OEM version, it may not have the ability to burn Lightscribe.

Did you get any error messages when you ran the Lightscribe diagnostic utility? It is about half way down this page..

What Lightscribe drive do you have? What type of images (format) are you trying to load?

Have you tried using one of the two labeling utilities from Lightscribe? Are you able to load the images and burn them?

Or possibly Steve in that esoteric shorthand the OP means Roxio EMC 9

However I am curious as to what 'Laser Labeller' might be - it's certainly not a Roxio program that I've come across

Apart from which, the cut-down Express Labeller probably won't work - try using Label Creator instead

Also if you go to the Lightscribe website, it appears to offer a program you can try out to create a lightscribe image. Here.

Hi I am running Roxio EMC9. When you open the page top left it displays Roxio Creator DE ( softwear version 9.0.117). In the top right you see
Most Frequent Tasks
Laser Label Disc
Copy Disc
Erase Disc
Audio Disc
Disc Information
Finalize Disc
My system is a Dell inspiron 1721. AMD Turion 64x2. 1.90GHz. 4.00Gb Ram. 32 Bit Op. System. Vista Home Premium.
I have downloaded more softwear from Lightscribe but I still cannot access my documents for Jpeg images.
What next?
Many Thanks Grandad Shep

That's a Dell OEM edition - there's no 'Laser Label Disc' in the retail version

You'd really need to contact Dell as there are things there that aren't standard Roxio apps

According to lightscribe's discussion forum, you should be able to import your images.

As Daithi states, the version of Roxio you have does not support what you are trying to do, but, according to the Lightscribe site, you should be able to accomplish your goal of adding images.

Did you ever run the diagnostics program?

Did you try making a disc with one of the free label making applications from Lightscribe?

Results ?
