I bought Roxio EMC 7 a few years back. It was sitting on the shelf for a long time. Recently I have installed it on my notebook and typed the license key that came with the purchase. It goes for online registration and comes back stating the license is not valid. The phone support people say its no longer supported but Roxio is blocking the use of the software that I have paid and bought. Why should I upgrade and spend money?
Did any one face this problem with these legacy products?
Appreciate any help.

Go here and log in with your e-mail and password and check that you have the correct key

Don't confuse zero with O or one with l (or even as I've done and typed a B for an 8)

Is the license key Case Sensitive?
I have the email confirmation of my purchase from Roxio.com dated March 2004.
Do you think this should work.
Another issue, not sure how to edit this license key again now after the installation. It doesn't allow me to retype it. I must have entered what is shown there during the installation.

thanks for any help.

You may need to do the clean install process in order to get it to let you enter it again. That's what I suggest you try.
