Jim_Hardin
What happened after you did the reinstall?

Try doing a Repair through Add/Remove Programs. Scroll down to Roxio Easy Media Creator 9, and click on the Change button. Follow the prompts from there.

I have the same problem, I re-install Easy Creator Basic 9, and My DVD9 don't be installed. I re-install again and continue withthe problem.
and don't appear in add/remove program either.

sorry.
I install windows 7 first, then ECB9 and fix with pxengine4_10_28a. and My DVD9 don't be installed too.

what can I do?

Uninstall W7. It is not a released product yet and may not be compatible with EMC Basic 9. At this point, I doubt that Roxio would guarantee that any of their products would be compatible with W7; especially one that is over 2 years old and was not completely compatible with Vista!
BTW, EMC 9.1 was fully compatible.

Vista and EMC 9 are completely compatible.

...especially the cut down version of EMC that came as an OEM with computers such as Dell. That product was EMC 9 DE.

What I should have said was that some applications like Drag to Disc were not compatable with Vista.
