When I edit in Videowave, about every third or forth picture does not appear, just a black screen. As the editing continues, pictures start to appear again, then a blank one. What am I doing wrong? I need every picture to appear so I can edit, change transition and so on. Help!

Question--How are you adding the photos to VideoWave ? And what type of photos ? And exactly what are you editing ? (photos, added video, text slides, transitions etc.).

I am doing photo DVD's uploading .jpeg. A thought...I am uploading full size images, about 6-8mgs each. Could it be that the images are so big the program can't open them fast enough before it tranistions to the next slide? I mainly use Videowave to change certain transitions within the show. Make sense?

I wouldn't think that the size of the images should matter but then I don't have any images that large. Most of mine are in the 1-2Meg range which is more then enough as all images are converted to a resolution of 720x480 anyway. This means that there is not much point to using very high resolution images when creating video slideshows for nob BlueRay projects.
Are you adding all the images at once and putting the transitions in at the end?
I don't understand exactly what you mean by "I mainly use Videowave to change certain transitions within the show". Videowave should be used for all slideshow creation and editing.

Here is how I build a slideshow.. I open the photo part of the software, click on Slideshow and then open the file with all the photos for my slideshow. The photos load, I then put them in the order I want them to appear, add music, then I burn one DVD disc. I have a look at the random trasistions on the disc, and will notice that 10 out of the 200 on the show don't transistion like I want them to (as in horizontal, where it cuts off the heads at the top) and I want to change the transition to show more of the photo. When I open Videowave, I start the show. Thats when the screen randomly goes black, and it seems to go black on 30% of the images (even though, on the DVD, it works fine)...I just want to be able to start Videowave and have all of the image appear...
One other thing..I am burning in "Normal 4.3" instead of "widescreen". My TV is a flatscreen, as most of my customers probably have.. Should I be burning my disc in "widescreen"? Is "normal 4.3" for old style TV's?

Instead of clicking on "Slide show", open up your program and use the "Videowave" program to produce your slide shows.
