I have made some success dealing with occasional blackouts- when a frame is blacked out during the burning process.
Has anybody else experienced this?

Narrowed it to two culprits so far- wav music and transitions between frames.

Mp3 worked better than "wav" files. Less information to process?

Individually placing transitions instead of "applying as theme" also seemed to help.

But still having "blackouts". But less of them.

Has anybody else experienced "blackouts" and had any success in getting rid of them?

I have been having the same problem. I got about halfway through my project and the blackouts started to appear. Some for only 1 picture and some for at least 2. I thought it was in the burning process but when I sat and watch the encoding process, I noticed it was happening at that time.

If I try going directly to burning a DVD, the process stops at about 95%.

I know that I have at least 1 "wav" file and will try changing that to see if it helps.

Lots of luck getting a response from Roxio Support. I started a web ticket over a week ago and am still waiting for a response.

Unfortunately, this is not the only problem I have found with Media Creator 10. I have also had a problem with the Video Capture (and I tried on two different computers running this version). When I tried on a computer still running Version 9, I had no problem.
