Hi,

I tried creating an image of a DVD using Roxio Creator 8 Suite but to my surprise it produced 3 gi image files of one DVD. All the three files produced have different sizes for example

Image_090409_2011 - Size: 2KB
Image_090409_2011(11) - Size: 2,097120 KB
Image_090409_2011 (12) - Size: 578,080 KB

I am totally confused as why did it ever make 3 image files all by itself instead one 1. I now plan to burn this image to disk and have no clue which file to use. Please advise.

Well, let's start with some questions.

1) Exactly how did you create this image? Which part of EMC 8 did you use?
2) What type of disc are you trying to copy? Is it one you created? A commercial DVD?
3) Of the files you listed above, what are the file types? .ISO? (You may have to go into Windows Explorer -> Tools -> Folder Options -> View, and uncheck the "Hide extensions for known file types" to be able to see the file type.)

Let us know because we don't have enough information yet.

Thats normal when creating gi image files from a DVD - they are part of one set representing the DVD image.. Just click on any one of the files and the appropriate program from EMC 8 should launch and you are ready to burn
